I brought my Toyota Camary to first choice auto on 4/1/19 Matt Lawson was the manager at the north shore store. It was getting old and I did not want to put a lot of money into it. Matt assured me that by replacing the coils and plugs that it would run another 100,000 miles. I agreed to do the work and was charged $1527.09! I drove the car about 40 miles and it started making a terrible ticking noise. I took the car back and told Mat to drive it. The next day he called and said the motor blew up and they were going to replace it. I have been calling all three shops looking for Mark or Leanne the owners, to contact me. To this day....7/15/19 I have never received a call back. I got a call about a month ago from Tim , the new manager at the North shore shop saying that the car was fixed and pick it up. When I went to pick it up he told me that it was running great but there was a serious oil leak in the rear seal? I asked why the hell would you give me back the car knowing that there was a serious oil leak?? He told me Mark ,the owner said to release it?? I fought with them fiercely to get the car back fixed. They finally agreed. Today is the 15 of July. They have offered me $1500 for my vehicle?? I have never once spoke to the owners?? I will be filing a lawsuit tomorrow against first choice as well as the owners. I believe the car was worth $2500.00 when I took it in originally. Plus the $1500 I already paid. Thats $4000.00 Plus I have been without a vehicle for 17 months!! Rental car would be $200 per week! Thats another $3400.00 I stated that I would settle for $4000.00 but they laughed. We will see how hard they laugh when a judge hears this!! There is a consumer protection act that everyone should read! If you want to waste time and money, take your vehicle to First Choice Automotive. Terrible rip-off!! Todd Howarth
