Patrick and the staff at First Choice Auto on S. Northshore Drive promptly helped me out with putting a spare on when I showed up with a very flat tire due to road debris. I highly recommend. Thanks First Choice!

The front end had a vibration. The mechanic diagnosed the problem as a worm CV joint. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I paid $2,000 (two thous the diagnostic to repair my car, in vain. Returned back the same day saying that my car is still “shaking” and the warning signal on my dashboard is still “on.” They said that what they fixed was more urgent and that I would need to pay for another diagnostic test… They never told me that the $2,000 will fix ONLY one issue I had in the car; the issue that I did NOT complain about…. End of story: the work they did ruined my new tires and voided the tires’ warranty. First Choice Northshore Drive had replaced the front control arms and “aligned” the tires… Two months after First Choice Northshore has replaced the control arms and alignments the tires, the metal threads of my new tires were showing because a bolt they fixed was almost an inch off and the alignment was done badly….

Thank you for your review.

I am quite impressed with Brent and Service Street. Everyone there welcomed me as I entered and after I dropped off my vehicle, within 30 minutes I knew exactly what was wrong, how much the repairs will cost, and an approximate length of time it would take to make the repairs. My vehicle was ready to pick up even quicker than their time estimate. The quality of work was excellent and the cost was competitive. I highly recommend Service Street and I will be taking my vehicle back to them for any preventive maintenance or repairs that are required.

Never have I had a worse experience at an auto repair shop. I first took my car in because it was overheating. They quoted me at $1200 to fix a fan that cools the engine. 2 hours later they called me again and quoted me at $2000 because apparently my starter was bad as well (even though it started fine before). When I went in to pick it up the horn and radio didn’t work. They assured me the battery was completely fine and it had to do with the wires so they had to take it back into the shop. I had to have my car for the week so I brought it back Friday at 8AM and was assured everything would be completely done by 6:30 that night. When I paid $40 to Uber to go pick my car up that same night I walked in and my entire radio was sitting in my passenger seat with an hours worth of work left to do. Instead of calling me telling me it wouldn’t be ready they waited until I walked in the door that night. Two days later after they finally fixed my radio and horn I drove away and it wouldn’t turn over. I took it to yet another shop and low and behold the battery was completely shot, not to mention I have no A/C still. It’s a shame they call themselves mechanics because pretty sure I could go on YouTube and do a better job. 2 weeks and $2000 later and my car has more problems than when I pulled into their parking lot. The main phrase you shouldn’t hear at an auto shop is “we are so sorry again”.

I apologize for your experience with our location.
